The Task
At the completion of this lesson, students will have created and designed a Fakebook page for an influential historical figure from the second Industrial Revolution. During the process of creating the Fakebook, students will learn about the Second Industrial Revolution and about specific people who lived during that time period. Students will learn time management skills in part because a majority of this project is self-paced. Students will learn from a combination of
primary and secondary sources. Students will provide personal insight into the life of someone
who lived during the Second Industrial Revolution not only through the Fakebook account, but
also through an oral presentation and short written report that explain the project thoroughly.
